 Thank you so much for providing your expert advice to my workout program through your SLED System.    I have been guided by your recommendations for only a few weeks, but already I am noticing a difference in some key fitness areas, namely:

 1.  My attitude!   Robert and I have been moderately faithful to our workouts for the past three years, but in a fairly ho-hum way.   I could probably go through my routine in my sleep!    Since you’ve been writing in your recommended increases in weights or reps on my chart, I feel INTERESTED in seeing what will be on my sheet each time I come to the gym.   I also TRUST the way you are moving me forward, so my workout is no longer a guessing game for figuring out how to improve my fitness level without risking injury. 

 2.  My strength!    I’m a pretty tough cookie, only soft around the edges, but I can already see a difference in my biceps, quads, and stomach.   This, after only three weeks of SLEDing!   Your expertise is worth gold to me.

 I think your idea of providing this service at Anytime Fitness places you head and shoulders above any other gym in the business!   The SLED system is the perfect way to guide members to better fitness.   I assume it takes you LESS time to fill in our sheets than it would to walk around the supervise routines individually.    At the same time, each member who wants this service can have it EVERY time they work out!     Another benefit to this system is that it gives attention to the member without intimidating them through constant live supervision.  I’m sure you’ve battled the gym syndrome ----- “I have to be in top shape before I step into a place like that.  I don’t dare let the fitness instructor see me work out.”   You’ve made people completely comfortable with getting advice, no matter their fitness level.   That adds TONS to the confidence and comfort level of the average member; I’m sure, thus helping them achieve greater success!  So, if I had to choose a gym based on the “open anytime” concept vs. the “open anytime, with anytime fitness advice” you KNOW what my choice would be. 

How great that you’ve initiated this program, Jeff and Teri.   I hope Anytime franchises around the country implement this excellent idea.    Thanks very much for your help!

I joined Anytime Fitness and have been a member since Jeff first opened the gym!! I was very interested in getting in shape and somewhat embarrassed that I didn't know how to get started.  He was very helpful with introducing me to all the machines, answering my questions and helping me get started with a workout that was right for me! 
 
I really liked the idea of having our own chart and seeing the progress from the workout before with their SLED System program!  Now even better because Jeff or Teri review my chart after each workout and let me know what I should be doing next (and the little notes of encouragement are always nice).  This helps keep me motivated and coming back!  
 
I have also had the privilege to be a part of Jeff and Teri's "Biggest Loser" program. I learned so much from both of them, even Jeff's mom took some time to come and tell us her success story!  Although I was not the "Biggest Loser" I did lose inches and some of the weight I put on while I was pregnant with my daughter (still working on that).
 
I will be honest, I am one of those who slack a little when it comes to actually getting to the gym, but I will tell you I come back because Jeff and Teri have given me a better understanding of what I need to do for me and my family to eat better and live a healthier life!

When I saw pictures of me from my 40th birthday party, I knew that I had to do something with my weight.   I joined Anytime Fitness and Jeff put me on his SLED system and I have stuck with it for over a year now.  Not only have I lost over 30 lbs but I went from 20.38% to 12.38% body fat.  I feel great and have more energy now than ever before.  The program is easy to follow and having a chart to keep track of my progress really helps keep me motivated.

I just wanted to mention that the workout chart and SLED SYSTEM is very beneficial to me. It has helped me maintain a schedule and routine with my workout, and contributes to me making progress because of the staff going over and making necessary changes by upping the weights or changing which equipment I use, etc.  It helps to be constantly improving or challenging myself. It is always helpful to have someone "check your work" and to have positive reinforcement so to speak. It helps to have someone kinda "keep an eye on me." The staff is very helpful and supportive. They are always available and take time to answer questions clearly which really helps in learning about health and fitness (exercise and diet). The program has also helped me gain confidence and understanding about my body, exercise, and diet. I feel better for the most part. I have lower body fat than when I started. It is great to see that change. It helps me to keep going. It also feels good when the staff is genuinely concerned and asks about how you are doing. Other gyms that I have been a part of never offered body fat measures, nutritional advice, and direction about a workout or a workout chart. I was a member of two other gyms in the past.

This program is super and so is the staff. It makes all the difference to have them monitor and assist in filling out the charts, as well as being available for questions, concerns, and giving direction by sharing their experience and knowledge. Thanks!!

I have been a member of the Wabasha Anytime Fitness Program since September '07.  This program has been the most beneficial fitness program I have belonged to in my adult years.  There are many fitness facilities available, 3 in our community alone.  What makes the Wabasha Anytime Fitness Program different than the numerous other programs available is the SLED system.  When discussing fitness facilities with acquaintances, the fact that there is a fitness expert to design and track your program as a part of your membership fee, is a strong selling point.   

As a retired person, my husband and I spend 3 months in the South.  We transfer our membership to an AF facility in that area.  Unfortunately, our time as a member of that program is merely maintenance.  Without the SLED system, I have no idea how to increase weights and though there are several different machines available, a member would need to hire an outside personal trainer to learn about the machines and to track progress. 

Though I have belonged to other fitness facilities, none have held my interest nor produced the  results that the Anytime Fitness Program in Wabasha - Thanks to Jeff and Teri.  The results I have experienced, down a size and definitely more strength and endurance are directly attributed to this program.  I know that without the direction and planning in the SLED system, I would have become bored and fitness would fade into the background. 

I truly wish that we could count on a facility such as this one in Wabasha for our 3 months during the winter.  I know that without Jeff and Teri's guidance, once again in April, upon our return, we will be starting over as we did this year upon our return to MN. 

 As an added plus, Jeff and Teri offer a functional core training program.  Though it is extremely difficult, it is that extra push needed to continue on the path to becoming a healthy individual.

This note is to express my thoughts and appreciation of Jeff and Teri at Anytime Fitness in Wabasha.

I am 58 years old and have never belonged to a gym, never lifted weights, or ever been taught how to use weight machines.  I also have injured my C3, C4 and C5 vertebras’ and they made the work out charts fit my needs to not further injure myself, but also worked with me to rebuild the strength I had lost due to the neck injury and my favoritism of my right side.

I joined last October and from the moment I started and saw the willingness of Jeff and Teri to assist me in doing things the right way was outstanding!  I wouldn’t have had the faintest idea how to set up my work out charts, etc.   I have counted on and looked forward to the changes in my work out charts with the SLED System—which they provide for me three times a week.

Also, of note, I have had two injuries during my membership (not related to the gym) and Jeff and Teri worked very closely with how to work with and around the injury and get me back up to the routine I was previously at.  I am very pleased with the results I have seen, I have firmed up, regained lost strength and overall just feel better.

I can say very honestly and frankly, without the friendliness of Jeff and Teri, the assistance in work outs and the work out charts, I would not be a member as of this writing.  It would not work for me to figure out what I should or should not be doing.  I am very happy with the workout chart program at the Wabasha Anytime Fitness Center!

I wasn't aware of the great service I received there until I had the occasion to visit a few other clubs here in Minnesota.  It is clear that you provide helpful training and assistance not necessarily offered by other clubs in the system.  Your professional training regimens and personal oversight have been of tremendous help to me in acquiring and maintaining my physical health.  In addition, your fit and fitness training have given back to me my golf game that I had lost over the years.

I feel the workout chart and SLED System has really been a help to me.  Without it I would probably stay at the same weights.  I worked out at another gym before yours and never knew what to do, I never changed weights I did the same thing all the time.  Here I think wow look I can do a lot more.  I probably would have never joined anytime without knowing about your charts.  Would I stay if you quit them?  No I would not. I feel my results have a lot to do with what the two of you provide to us.  It is fun wondering what level I can reach next.   I haven't lost weight but I have lost inches.  I really enjoy coming in and working out.

I want to pass along to everyone what a GREAT exercise center we have in Lake City at Anytime Fitness.  Jeff and Teri have made exercise a pleasant, fun, and personal experience.  They have set up personal fitness program folders to use.  All the exercises are designed for my personal needs.  But they don't just leave it at that.  They also do frequent reviews of these programs to see how things are going, and make adjustments as needed.  They are always available to answer any questions or help in any way.  I have belong to two other exercise places, and I can't say the same about them.  Jeff and Teri do an outstanding job at this center.  Without their personal touch it would be so easy to lay off the exercise and be lazy.  Jeff and Teri help keep you motivated and inspirited to make it a daily part of your routine.  Their programs and the fitness center machines have helped to make me a healthier person.  I recommend and sing their praises whenever the topic of exercise comes up.  I feel that the way they run this center and the SLED SYSTEM would be a terrific model for others to follow.  Thanks Lake City Anytime Fitness Center.

A quick note of praise and recognition to Anytime Fitness in Wabasha, MN.  The facility is owned by Jeff and Teri Bissonnette.

Jeff and Teri offer a daily chart service called the SLED SYSTEM that enables members to have their weight and/or cardio activity (charts) reviewed and consulted FREE of charge.  For me this has taught me to move beyond where I would have ever gone.

Both my husband and I have previously belonged to other health clubs (Northwest, Bally's, US Swim & Fitness, and YMCA)  and we have never received the guidance and support that Jeff and Teri offer FREE. 

I have had 13 major hip surgeries, and while I am only 39 years old it is likely that I am a candidate for hip replacements.  In fact, after joining other fitness centers, trainers would not even support me in a weight training program because I was too high of a risk!  At Anytime Fitness in Wabasha, both Jeff and Teri work closely with me and have changed my life.  I now know that taking care of myself through nutrition, weight lifting, and core training I can prolong replacements. 

When I joined, I was primarily interested in strengthening my hip.  I seemed to be ok with weighting 140, yet always wanting to loose that magical 10 lbs.!  I quickly learned that a change in my life style has had significant impact.  In 6 months, I have gone from a size 10 to size 4 (pants), lost 17 lbs., body fat of 38% to 25%, and completely changed my shape.  Without their support, encouragement, and extreme knowledge of healthy living, I would never have been able to do it. 

In a small community, we are lucky to have such a fantastic fitness center.  Jeff and Teri are outstanding.  Anytime Fitness should be honored to have a franchise in their name!  We wish them much success!  Congrats to Jeff and Teri.

 Just a little note to let you know how much I appreciate all the help at the fitness center. Having the work out charts that you guys take care of for me has really helped me stay on course, seeing the results makes all the difference in the world. Without the Sled System I am not sure I would have done well enough to keep me coming back. Not only that but having you guys there for instructions has also helped, you both have caught me using the equipment improperly and pointed me in the right direction.

I am a 59 year old ex-smoker who really needed the help. The day I got my prescription filled for Chantix to quit that, I had an offer of a free membership to your fitness center in the mail. That had never entered my mind, call it fate. I have been visiting your center ALMOST EVERYDAY SINCE.

Buy the way I don't use the Chantix any more after 43 years of smoking I think I have it whipped. I have an 18 month membership in your club, which I know I will renew when its done. I feel better than I have in a while and doing better every day. I have also lost app.28 lbs.

I am a 60 year old woman who was a member of 'Curves' before moving to Wabasha two years ago, then joined 'It Figures' at that time.  I enjoyed both of these workout places at first but became bored with them after several months.  Neither of them had the one to one guidance I have found at Anytime Fitness here in Wabasha.   Both Jeff and Teri are very helpful and qualified.  I trust that their suggestions for my next workout are sound.  I joined Anytime 4 months ago and have lost 10 lbs body fat and built 8 lbs of muscle and feel so much better.  I credit the workout chart program and Sled System for my success.  Without the daily recommendations for weights, reps and sets I probably would have done it all wrong and either not advanced as quickly or not challenged myself effectively.  And I would have gotten bored.   I feel very lucky to have this service available to me from Jeff and Teri.

I have been a member at several gyms, including the YWCA and Lifetime Fitness in the Twin Cities. The difference I notice, and appreciate, at the Anytime Fitness in Lake City is an individual workout plan designed and maintained by the staff/owners. This is part of my membership benefits, not an added expense for personal training. This is a huge value! The workout chart program keeps me accountable, mostly to myself, so that I see my progress on paper and in the mirror. It motivates me to continue coming to this Anytime Fitness, and to continue my membership at it. What it also demonstrates is that the owners/staff at this gym truly care about fitness and health in the community. They don't just want members to pay their monthly monetary dues, but they want to see that members are 'paying' with sweat—gaining muscle strength, stability, flexibility and cardiovascular health. Teri and Jeff carry their healthy living initiative even further by offering reasonably priced core strengthening classes, body fat testing, safe weight-loss challenges, and probably more things that I don't even know about yet.

Since joining this Anytime Fitness about six months ago, I have seen changes to my overall health that I would not have accomplished without my membership and participation in the workout chart program. While I have only lost five pounds on the scale, I have gained muscle tone and strength to a degree I haven't had since high school (20 years ago). As someone who does very physical work for a living, this has given me more strength and stamina throughout the day. I lift safer and smarter while I work, and I can rely on larger muscle groups to take strain off my spine, elbows and wrists. Without the workout chart program, I never would have challenged myself to add weights or repetitions like I am
doing now.

I am a newer member of the Wabasha, MN fitness center and couldn't be more satisfied with the helpful staff and well-maintained facility. 

It was been some time since I have been a member of a gym, and was somewhat hesitant in joining due to the "stereotypes" surrounding most facilities.  Not only did I get to experience the gym atmosphere and equipment in Wabasha at no charge for the month of December ...I got personal attention from Jeff and Teri Bissonnette from the beginning of my new adventure. The chart program that they manage is a great way to keep me on track...I don't have to make my own decisions on weight increases and I have a workout history at a glance to see how far I am progressing.  I would not be as dedicated to my workouts if I wasn't accountable through their S.L.E.D. system.  

Their assistance with nutrition, body analysis and weight routines are second to none and I couldn't have jump-started my fitness program without their help.  Making my decision to join the program was a no-brainer.

I am very grateful to have a local facility with such knowledgeable and helpful trainers available to me.  I have seen positive results from my analysis, and look forward to reaching my personal goals in the future. Jeff and Teri are extremely dedicated to their members, and offering the S.L.E.D. program is just one example of their devotion.

Anytime Fitness

I recently joined the Lake City Anytime Fitness Studio.  It has been a positive experience for me because of the personal attention of owners, Jeff and Teri, and of their staff person, Connie.    In the past I have been reluctant to work out on machines and have exercised most often in a group setting at the Red Wing Family Y.  The group setting with an instructor motivating the class has kept me working out for the past 14 years.  Curiosity about Anytime Fitness led me to the studio in Lake City where I was introduced to the SLED System.  This system has been an ideal fitness tool for me.  I find the ongoing review of my workout keeps me motivated to continue to work toward my fitness goals.  Also staff willingness to adjust and add to the routine keeps the program fresh and challenging.  My husband and I will be wintering in Arizona and I would be delighted to learn that the Anytime Fitness Studio in our area there has adopted this fun and effective program.

I enjoy the S.L.E.D system since I have joined Anytime Fitness. I had lifted weights at home for years and it seemed like I didn't make much progress. With the SLED system it pushed me to do more without having someone right next to me. Jeff was able to set up a special schedule for me to fit my time limits which worked out well and I could do it anytime I wanted. I like the structure of coming in for a work out and it's all written out what I need to do so it helps you avoid being lazy. The other nice part about it is that if I have question or want to change something there is often a staff member available to help me set it up. I feel good and I know I'm lifting more than in the past. In general the SLED program has sold me on feeling good about spending my money to continue my membership which is hard for me because I HATE spending money!!

Travis and I started our work outs in high school and continued training throughout college.  Once coached sports were over we were at a loss for knowing exactly what to do in the gyms. Two years went by where neither of us really kept up on our workouts and we knew we needed to make a change. After trying many different gyms we realized we need to have a consistent work out with a knowledgeable trainer at hand. We joined Anytime Fitness in Wabasha, MN six months ago and have already seen results not only in our bodies but in the way we feel.

Travis being the difficult one to find a workout that fits his needs yet keeps him challenged found Anytime Fitness exceeding his expectations. Thanks to Jeff and Teri's S.L.E.D. System, which includes free personal training, it has made both of our work outs more productive with effective measurable results. We have accomplished many lifetime goals that we wouldn't have done without their help. Travis is now competing at the national level for Strong Man Competition while I have been very proactive with strengthening my distance with the dreams to compete in a full marathon very soon. I am a member of the Anytime Fitness in Wabasha, Minnesota.  I would first like to say that this is the first time I have ever lifted weights in my life.  If not for Jeff or Teri, I would not have a clue where to start, what weight to lift and when to change the weight.  They are extremely friendly and helpful. We hand in our charts at the end of our workout and they go thru them and show us where to increase with pounds and reps for your next workout.  I am still there because of their professionalism and willingness to help me out.  If you have a question on any of the machines they help you out personally. I have belonged to another fitness center and did not stay.  There was not the personal commitment to the customer. There was no room to grow within.

I am very pleased with this Anytime Fitness Club, and Jeff and Teri's professional leadership within the program. I would probably have not joined without this help in the beginning and throughout the program. I do not feel I would have understood the weight program on my own and I am still not comfortable with changing weights on my own.

Hi, my name is Julie Roemer-Fosmo. I belong to anytime Fitness in Wabasha, MN. I have never belonged to a gym before last December. I was a bit unsure about it I had knee surgery a year ago before I had joined. I was having problems with it. The surgeon told me I should work with weights. Jeff from Anytime Fitness went through the workout he thought would be best for me. I cannot express how much it has helped me. I was looking at having more surgery. I can say I do not think about the pain any more it clicks but I can take that.  I know that if the charts were not filled out I would not be a member. I am constantly looking at my chart. I cannot remember from machine to machine what I did. I cannot imagine going a few days. I try to do better each time I come. (Does not happen always)  When I joined Anytime Fitness I barely lifted 10 pound. I am much stronger. Jeff watches us and tells members if their doing things wrong. I like that too. Jeff and his wife Teri are very supportive of their members. They write us little notes on our charts. (such as good job or a smile face.)  When members enter they greet us by our name. They and their club is an asset to Wabasha.  Thank you for helping both my son Brady and myself.
